Maintain Hope Children's Home

Our main focus is on the welfare of the 32 children ,24 residents and 8 in the Out-reach Programme at Maintain Hope Children's Home. Our institution is registered with the Government of Kenya and is regulated by the Children's Office. The Home is managed by a properly constituted Board of Management. Ms Jane Ndegwa is the Director of the refuge.
Twenty four rescued children, many of whom are HIV positive live in a three-bedroom rented  house.  Our long term aim is to find a permanent and sustainable solution to their accommodation needs. Our great hope is that if we can pay the costs of rent ,food .medication and education, so that the children who have been together for eight years, will not be separated and dispersed. We want to keep them together and attending their present schools, where they are doing well.  Since every cent raised goes directly to our projects, with no deduction for administration, every € raised makes a difference. You could run a Coffee Morning. Run a Marathon. Organise a table Quiz.

The Moon and Sixpence.

A full house enjoyed a magical night of musical nostalgia at the gala reunion of  The Moon and Sixpence at the Town Hall Theatre Kilculen in September. Many thanks to everybody who contributed to a wonderful night. Everybody gave their services for free and the proceeds went towards the cost of food and education for our children at Maintain Hope Children's Home.
